Traditional research often studies people. Participatory Action Research (PAR), like ours, studies with them.
Before cameras click or questions are asked, we begin with listening. Each ethnic minority community we work with helps shape the questions, the stories, and the final narratives. They are not “subjects” — they are co-researchers.
By building trust and co-designing each phase, we aim to shift the role of academia from observer to collaborator. That shift is slow, but necessary — and it starts with humility.
