Project 3 will focus on Hòa Binh. Another aspect of our research is to explore how the worldviews/religious underpinnings of the Mường ethnic minority group are being affected by outdoor tourism. For example, the research will focus on how ethnic/eco/adventure tourism is affecting shifts in perspective regarding gender(ed) roles, skills, agriculture, and ethnobotany and the transition of goods from rural to urban, to reveal any changes to the practices and perceptions of minority ethnic communities.
