PARTICIPANT PROFILE

At the heart of this project are the voices of the Dao, Mường, Hmong, Giáy, and Tày communities. Rather than being subjects of research, participants are co-researchers — homestay owners, storytellers, tourguides, and knowledge holders who shape the direction of the study.

Through their lived experiences, traditions, and perspectives, we gain unique insights into how outdoor tourism is reshaping cultural narratives and everyday life. This section introduces some of the participants who have generously shared their stories, inviting us to see the world through their eyes.
